How It Works
Three steps to a certified track record
Kraken offers granular API permissions. You only need query access -- no trading, no withdrawals.
Create an API key in Kraken
Navigate to Settings > API in your Kraken account. Create a new key pair. Kraken generates both a public key and a private key.
Enable "Query" permissions only
In the permissions panel, enable only "Query Funds", "Query Open Orders & Trades", and "Query Closed Orders & Trades". Disable all trading and withdrawal permissions.
Paste into AuditZK
Enter your API key and secret in the AuditZK dashboard. Your credentials are encrypted client-side and transmitted to a hardware enclave. Daily snapshots begin automatically.

Your credentials never leave the enclave
AuditZK uses AMD SEV-SNP hardware enclaves to isolate your API key from all external access -- including our own infrastructure.
Granular permissions
Kraken's API supports fine-grained permission control. The key used by AuditZK has query-only access -- no ability to place orders, modify positions, or initiate withdrawals.
Hardware-level isolation
Your API key is decrypted exclusively inside an AMD SEV-SNP enclave. Memory is encrypted at the hardware level, inaccessible to the host OS or hypervisor.
Nonce-based authentication
Kraken uses nonce-based request signing, preventing replay attacks. Combined with enclave isolation and read-only permissions, this provides defense in depth.
