Log in to your Alpaca account and navigate to the API Keys section. Generate a new API key pair specifically for AuditZK.
Select read-only scope
Configure your API key with read-only permissions. This ensures AuditZK can only view account data — it cannot place orders, modify positions, or access funds.
Paste key + secret into AuditZK
Enter your API key and secret in AuditZK. Your credentials are encrypted in a hardware enclave and used solely to fetch daily account snapshots. Your equity curve is reconstructed and metrics computed automatically.

Alpaca API keys can be scoped to read-only. AuditZK never has trading or withdrawal permissions on your account.

Read-only API key
AuditZK uses a scoped API key that can only read account data. It cannot place orders, modify positions, or initiate transfers. Your account is never at risk.
Encrypted in AMD SEV-SNP enclave
Your API key and secret are encrypted at rest and decrypted only inside a hardware-isolated enclave. AuditZK's own infrastructure cannot read them.
Revocable from Alpaca dashboard
Delete the API key from your Alpaca dashboard at any time. Access is immediately severed. You can generate a new key if you want to reconnect.
